Seventh Door

Vision & Mission

A clear statement of what we are for.

Why the Foundation exists, what we are committed to doing, and the values we will be held to.

Our vision

A world in which having someone to think with is ordinary — not a privilege of seniority, wealth or crisis.

Our mission

To make high-quality coaching and personal-transformation work reachable, through one-to-one practice, group programmes and open community workshops, and to fund a meaningful share of that work so cost is never the reason someone stays stuck.

Our values

Honesty over comfort

We will tell you what we actually see, including when we think you are avoiding something. Gentleness is a manner, not a substitute for the truth.

Confidentiality, without exception

What is said in a session stays in the session. We do not name clients, quote them or use their stories without written permission. Every story published on this site is here because the person asked us to publish it.

Competence and its limits

Our coaches practise within recognised ethical frameworks. Coaching is not therapy, counselling or medical treatment. If what you need sits outside our scope, we will say so in the first conversation and help you find the right support.

Access as a practice

Tiered fees, funded places and free community workshops are not charity attached to the side of the organisation. They are how the organisation works.

Accountability

We publish what we do and what it costs. Our annual report is open to anyone who asks for it.
